FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?
Our online Box Office is open 24 hours a day! We do not have a traditional walk-up, in-person advance sales box office and the Milford Arts Council DOES NOT sell our tickets. But click here to purchase tickets to all our our events.
CAN I PUSH TWO TABLES TOGETHER?
No, sorry. In accordance with our contract with the Milford Arts Council, we must maintain aisles and spacing between the tables. Moving tables together not only obstructs the aisle, but also blocks the sight lines of others. If you have a party of ten, consider taking a table of six and an adjacent table of four.
CAN I MOVE ONE CHAIR TO MY TABLE?
Sorry again. Our tables of six fit six. Our tables of four fit four. If an extra seat is moved, everyone will be uncomfortable.
WHAT IF I NEED TO EXCHANGE MY TICKETS?
While all purchases are a ‘final sale’ and there are no refunds, we will try our best to exchange your tickets for another performance of the same production. We cannot hold credit for a different production. Email us at pantochino@gmail.com to make an exchange and we will try our best to accommodate. You may also contact the helpful staff our our ticket service, Showclix at this link.
WAIT. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS?
Sorry. There are no refunds. When purchasing your tickets via Showclix, it is made clear our policy of no refunds. It is standard policy in almost all theatre, concert and sporting entertainment venues. If you are unable to use your tickets, consider giving them to family or friends or counting your ticket costs as a tax deductible donation to our 501c3 not for profit organization.
CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE DOOR?
If available, tickets may be purchased at the door. Please note, the MAC is a small venue and most of our performances sell out. Its best to purchase your tickets in advance as not to be disappointed.
CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS FOR A GROUP?
Yes! And you can get a discount for parties of 10 or more. We have tables for 6, 4 and 3. Though you cannot push tables together, you certainly can purchase adjacent tables for your group (A group of 10 could purchase a table for six and a nearby table for four to make the ten seats). The MAC is intimate and you will be close to your friends at the next table. Once you know your date and number in your party, email us (pantochino@gmail.com) and we will create a discount code just for you! Simple? Simple!
WHERE DO I PARK?
At all of our show times (evenings and weekends), parking is available in any of the Milford Train Station lots. While signage may warn of permit parking only, that rule is not enforced after 5pm or on weekends. Note, downtown Milford is busy on weekend evenings. Should the lot be full, on street parking is available along the green and side streets.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK?
Our shows are all sat cabaret-style, and audiences are invited to bring their own food and drink to enjoy during the performance. Concession items (water, coffee, chips, candy, specialty items) are on sale in the lower level of the building. NOTE: Camp shows and Teen Theatre productions are sat in regular theatre row fashion.
BUT THE MAC WEBSITE SAYS I CAN’T BRING FOOD. WHAT GIVES?
That’s correct. The Milford Arts Council does not permit bringing food and drink to THEIR events. But we are renting the building for our Pantochino shows…and we DO allow our guests to bring their own picnic. Yes, you can bring your own beer, wine, etc too!!
DO YOU SELL WINE, BEER, COCKTAILS?
No, we do not have a liquor license to sell alcoholic beverage. In accordance with our agreement with the Milford Arts Council, we cannot use their permit to sell alcohol for our events.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
The lobby is open forty-five minutes prior to each performance. The theatre itself is open one half hour prior to the show.
DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET FOR A CHILD SITTING ON MY LAP?
Fire regulations require all attendees, no matter what age, to have a ticket in order to conform to the seating capacity.
IS THE MAC ACCESSIBLE TO THOSE WITH DISABILITIES?
Yes, there is a ramp located next to the main entrance. Please inform the box office upon your arrival and they will be happy to assist in opening the door. There is also an elevator in the lobby to the lower level/concession stand. When purchasing tickets, note Tables 14, 15 and 18 are easy in/easy out from the door to the ramp.
SO ARE PANTOCHINO AND MILFORD ARTS COUNCIL THE SAME THING?
Nope, but we’re friends! Pantochino Productions Inc. and Milford Arts Council are two separate not for profit organizations. Pantochino rents the theatre space from the Arts Council for its performances and partners with the Arts Council for its Summer Theatre Camps.
IS PANTOCHINO MOVING TO THE CONNECTICUT POST MALL?
We’re not. If you’ve seen our expansive display on the windows of the lower level of the mall, you have discovered where Pantochino rehearses its shows, holds its classes, paints and stores scenery and props and houses our vast costume collection! It’s our workspace…and we are very grateful to the Connecticut Post Mall and its staff for their support!
ARE THERE RESTAURANTS OR ANYTHING NEAR THE THEATRE?
There are thirty restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, bakeries, ice cream and shopping just a few steps from the MAC. Unique shopping, Milford Harbor, Connecticut’s second largest green and so much more make up Downtown Milford! Come early, or have a walk around after the show! If you are visiting during the holiday season, Milford Green is a must see at night! There is even a bouy tree by Lisman’s Landing!
